To reenable a sound device that you’ve disabled using the method described above, you’ll need to take a slightly different approach in Settings. First, right-click the speaker icon in the lower-right corner of the taskbar and select “Sound Settings.”
Windows Settings will open to System > Sound. Scroll down the page until you find the “Advanced” section. Click “All Sound Devices.”
In the list of output devices, click the sound device that you’d like to reenable.
On the device’s Properties page, under “Audio,” click the “Allow” button.
After that, the sound device will be reenabled and will show up on the list of output devices in System > Sound near the top of the page again. Happy listening!
