The Discord interface is the same on both the web app and the desktop app, so the steps below should help you switch your Discord status to appear offline regardless of your platform.

To get started, open the Discord website or the official Discord app for Windows, Mac, or Linux.

When the site or the app loads, sign in if you haven’t already. At the bottom-left corner, you’ll see your profile picture with your status and your username. Click on your profile picture.

Click your Discord profile picture in the bottom-left corner.

A pop-up menu for status options will open. Select the “Invisible” status option from it.

Select "Invisible" status from the pop-up menu.

A gray circular icon under the user’s profile picture indicates the Invisible or offline status.

Gray circle next to profile picture indicates the offline mode.
